Mother's Together

Last night all of the Mom's were invited to come and get to know each other a little better, over a couple of pots of fondue, and delectable appetizers. Of course not everyone could make it, and some even had to drop out at the last minute due to illness and life, but those of us who were there, had a very enjoyable evening. We shared great discussions about ourselves and our families. There was encouragement and hearty laughter - the things we all need. As we ended at Midnight (there was just so much to talk about!), we were eagerly considering our next get-together. And surely next time, some will be there and some won't - an evolving circle of friends.
This is so much a part of what Caleb and I want for Ebenezer Farm. We envision something much deeper than your typical "daycare". We're not even sure where we're being led, to tell you the truth. But one of the things we do know is that we don't ever want there to be any sort of disconnect between us, our employees, the children and their families. Life is hard, often very hard, but God is Good and our most worthy purpose is to be instruments of His Goodness; pouring His Goodness into the lives around us - and most intentionally in our work at Ebenezer Farm.

We are so grateful for the wonderful families/friends that we have the privilege of sharing our lives with. We are abundantly blessed!

  1. What a beautiful commentary. I am so happy we found you lovely folks. Your Ebeneezer Farm emits such a warm and happy ora, makes me wish I had such an opportunity when I was a child. Thanks Grace and Caleb.
